We're on a journey to try all local Aborigine owned restaurants. We've seen the billboard and wanted to give their food a try. For starters, there's no restroom in this sit down restaurant. The vibe felt a little off as we were asked the same questions (not as in hello, how are you. A bunch of the same random questions) by several people coming and going. We were stared at as we sat, talked, and ate. There was no menu or price listing. There were very few options, one drink option, and we were served a spoonful of food which didn't reflect the price. Now, everything wasn't all bad. We did enjoy the food. It was delicious. Our overall experience was OK, but we didn't feel very welcomed. We don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.
I live out of town but I compute for school in Springfield, i ran across this lovely lady yesterday she was the sweetest! I ordered the fried chicken green beans with cheesy potatoes.. food was fresh and flavorful! I’m going back again today lol.. once you try her food you’ll be back for more.
Food was good and I most definitely will be back 🔥
I have eaten here many times and referred my friends and family. Gene is a friend of mine. The meals are inconsistent. Sometimes its fabulous and sometimes not so good. Last night was disgraceful. I ordered smothered chicken liver which is one of my favorites. The gravy was much too salty. My sides were black eyed peas and rice. I got black eyed peas that were dried and hard with some rice on top and another side of rice. My corn bread was nothing but crumbs.i cannot believed you served food like that. I will not be back.
Very delicious food and the staff was super friendly. It had a weird smell in the restaurant but overall it did not interfere with the experience very much.
This was my first time at Ms D's. I enjoyed my dinner of chicken wings. spaghetti, sweet potatoes, cornbread and homemade lemonade. I also loved the fellowship with the owner and waitress. I will definitely be back. I rate it 5 stars.
If good home cooking is what you're looking for, Ms. D's offers the best. Smothered chicken, smothered pork chops and her incomparable meat loaf are my favorites. Sides often include sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cabbage or greens -- all wonderful choices. You won't leave hungry.
The SERVICES WERE SLOW. . THEY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH FOOD TO SERVE THE CUSTOMERS. AND AFTER A 2HR WAIT WE STILL DIDN'T GET ANY FOOD.... I GUESS CAUSE THEY HAD TO ORDER MORE CHICKEN FROM THE GROCERY STORE. I WATCHED THE BOX OF CHICKEN COME IN THE BACK DOOR. SORRY WE DIDN'T GET TO EAT HERE. THE FOOD SMELLED AMAZING. WE TRAVELED ALL THE WAY FROM "CALIFORNIA" TO EAT HERE. I WAS DISAPPOINTED
